Heavy-Duty Tile Adhesive
UZIN Bond Flex is an adhesive for all types of ceramic tiles, homogeneous tiles, mosaics, glass blocks, and natural stone applications in swimming pool areas or heavy-duty, commercial, wet, hot, cold areas, as well as directly over slippery surfaces (tiles and glass). It has strong bonding strength (requiring > 10 kg to remove a 1x1 cm tile that has been installed for 28 days) and minimal shrinkage to prevent tile lifting. It has high compressive strength and elasticity that allows it to withstand vibrations in industrial areas. It is applied thinly (± 3 mm) using a notched trowel and is known as the “thin-bed method” as a replacement for the conventional thick-bed method. The advantages of the thin-bed method compared to the thick-bed method are faster application, overcoming tile cracking, preventing tile popping and debonding. It also simplifies installation because the tiles do not sag during application and do not need to be soaked in water beforehand.
