Potassium Silicate Primer
UZIN SC 14 is a potassium silicate-based solution with a special formulation that reacts with the silica contained in bricks or plaster, forming minerals that increase density, harden the surface, prevent weathering, reduce abrasion, and resist water absorption (hydrophobic).
UZIN SC 14 is used to consolidate fragile surfaces as a binding layer and as a strengthening layer for the UZIN Heritage Paint system as required.
UZIN SC 14 has weather-resistant, UV-resistant, non-combustible characteristics, is permeable to water vapor (breathable), micro-porous, does not form a film, and contains no added solvents or plasticizers.
