Economical and Ecological Floor Leveling Mortar
UZIN Screed Eco is a floor screed mortar consisting of 2 separate components. It consists of cement mixed with consistency-regulating additives, selected silica sand with particle sizes below 8 mm according to DIN 4226 standards, as well as screened aggregates with an average particle size of 15 mm. UZIN Screed Eco mortar can be directly applied over concrete (Bonded Screed), over a polyethylene plastic layer (Screed on separating membrane), or over rubber insulation sheets (floating screed), and is commonly used for leveling surfaces or increasing floor height. Ceramic tiles, granite, marble, and wooden flooring (Parquet, Laminate) can be directly installed over UZIN Screed Eco. For office or residential areas, after applying a thin layer of UZIN-NC 145 Self-Leveling Compound, soft flooring (Vinyl, Rubber, Cork, Carpet, Linoleum) can be installed or the surface can be directly coated with impregnation or Epoxy Coating. Consult UZIN technicians regarding floor preparation before applying soft flooring and Epoxy.
